Funding and support for this event are critical to CASA’s mission to advocate for abused and neglected children, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met through our CASA volunteers. Our volunteer CASAs provide advocacy, stability, and attention to foster and at-risk youth in Yolo County. Our donors fund recruitment, training, advocacy efforts, and professional supervision of advocates. Becoming a CASA volunteer is a powerful and rewarding experience. As a volunteer, you will be making a difference in the lives of our community’s children.
Fall 2026 Training Session dates:
Application due by: September 25th, 2026
Training is a mix of self-paced online modules and live class sessions.
Live class dates: October 10th, October 14th, October 21st, October 28th, November 4th, & November 18th.
Live Classes will be held on one Saturday from 9am-3pm and 5 Wednesdays from 6-9pm in the Yolo CASA office or over Zoom and all are mandatory to be sworn in as CASA. CASAs who complete the training will be sworn in on November 18th at 6pm.
