Doni holds a Master’s Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Administration from St. Mary’s College of California and worked as a special education teacher prior to her nonprofit career. She was formerly the Associate Director of Development for Wayfinder Family Services and prior to that she was the Executive Director of AASK (Adopt a Special Kid). No stranger to the value of what one person can do for a child in foster care, Doni herself grew up in a family who adopted 14 children from diverse cultural backgrounds.
During her free time, Doni enjoys riding her horses and enjoying new adventures with her family.

Colleen Campbell

Colleen has worked in both the social services and education fields for over 15 years. She received her BA in Psychology at UCSB and her MS in Education from NU. She is passionate about mental health, community well-being, and resources that can help children and families reach their goals. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors with friends and family, watching a good documentary, or exploring anything new. However, most of all she enjoys spending time with her dog, Cali, who Colleen has unofficially declared “best chihuahua ever”.

Training Coordinator/Advocate Supervisor
Janell Quesada

Janell joined Yolo County CASA staff in January 2022 and has been a CASA advocate since 2015. She received a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Social Work after deciding to follow her passion to work with youth experiencing trauma. She is excited to join Yolo CASA to serve Yolo County’s youth and to provide support for volunteer advocates. In her spare time, Janell enjoys reading, visiting various Northern California beaches, and spending time with her family.

Advocate Supervisor
Rox Glassman

Rox Glassman began her journey with Yolo County CASA as a CASA volunteer in 2017 and joined the staff as an advocate supervisor in February 2022. Rox holds a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and a master’s degree in Educational Administration. To her role of advocate supervisor, Rox brings her experience working with youth in both educational and clinical psychiatric settings. Rox loves spending time with her husband traveling and attending live concerts, connecting with family, and losing herself in a good book.

Jordan Ellison

Jordan joined Yolo County CASA staff in May 2022 after previously serving as a CASA volunteer in Monterey County beginning in 2020. Jordan has a master’s degree in Human Development and Family Science as well as a graduate certificate in Nonprofit Management from Oklahoma State University. She is thrilled to combine her passions of supporting volunteers with serving children and families at Yolo CASA.
Outside of work Jordan enjoys reading, puzzles, running/going to the gym, fostering dogs, and spending time with friends and family.

Advocate Supervisor
Spenser Goodwin

Spenser joined Yolo County CASA staff in July 2022 after serving as a CASA volunteer in Sacramento County since 2019. He received his bachelor’s degree from CSU Sacramento in Social Science as well as an associate’s degree in Criminal Justice from American River College. Spenser enjoys working with youth and has been a youth sports coach for almost 10 years. In his free time he enjoys going to the movies, working out, and spending time with his dog.

Advocacy Assistant
Erica Jimenez

Erica joined the Yolo County CASA staff in December of 2019. She received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Chicano Studies from UC Davis and a Master’s of Social Work (MSW) from CSU, Chico State. Erica previously worked for Yolo County Child Welfare Services as a social worker for 4.5 years and a social worker supervisor for 1.5 years. In her free time, she enjoys camping, reading, crafting and spending time with her husband and friends.
